Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Add the breadcrumbs, diced onions, salt, and pepper to the ground beef in a bowl
Combine well
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat
For medium-rare, cook the burger patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side
If you want them more done, cook them for longer
Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover it for the last minute of cooking
This will melt the cheese
Make the special sauce by mixing ketchup and mayonnaise while the patties are cooking
You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned
Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun of each burger
Then, put lettuce and tomato slices on top of the sauce, and then add the cheesy burger patty
Put diced pickles on top of the patty, and then put the top bun on top of that
