Cheese and Bacon Air Fryer Scones

These Air Fryer Scones with Cheese and Bacon taste great and are savory. Theyre great for breakfast or as a snack. Thanks to the air fryer, they get golden and crispy on the outside while staying soft and cheesy on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

Put the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl and mix them together

Mix the cold butter cubes into the dry ingredients

You can use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it looks like big crumbs

Add the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese to the mix

Mix the dry ingredients with the milk little by little until a soft dough forms

Be careful not to mix too much

Place the dough on a floured surface and knead it a few times to bring it all together

Spread or roll the dough out until its 1 inch thick

Then, use a round biscuit cutter to make scones

Put the scones on a tray that has been lined with parchment paper

Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 350F 175C

Make sure the scones dont touch each other when you put them in the air fryer basket that has already been heated

For 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked all the way through, air fry the scones

Before you serve the scones, take them out of the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes
