Low Carb Chocolate Birthday Cake

Indulge in a guilt-free treat with this delicious low carb chocolate birthday cake. Perfect for those following a keto lifestyle or anyone looking for a healthier alternative to traditional birthday cake recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup erythritol or preferred keto-friendly sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips optional

Instructions:

Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up

Butter or line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper

Cocoa powder, erythritol, baking powder, baking soda, and salt should all be mixed together in a large bowl

Crack the eggs into a different bowl and mix them with the almond milk, melted butter or coconut oil, and vanilla extract

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until everything is well mixed

You can add chocolate chips if you want to

When the cake pan is ready, pour the batter into it and spread it out evenly

Put it in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan

Then, move it to a wire rack to cool all the way down

Once its cool, you can either frost it with your favorite keto-friendly frosting or eat it plain

Cut it up and serve Any food that is left over can be kept in the fridge for up to 5 days in a container that doesnt let air in
